Dead Men Tell No Tales
 Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge is the 5th instalment in the franchise and is directed by Joachim Running and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki). The film stars Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland), Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Skyfall), Geoffrey Rush (Shakespeare in Love, The King's Speech), Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner, Skins) and Brenton Thwaites (Gods of Egypt, Maleficent). "Captain Jack Sparrow searches for the trident of Poseidon". Is this a franchise to treasure or is it a sinking ship?

 King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man From U.N.C.LE.) and stars Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim), Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes, Spy) and Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator, Blood Diamond). "Robbed of his birthright, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy - whether he likes it or not". Will King Arthur live up to its legendary title or will this adaptation slay the original tale?

This is the closest they've been in years.

 Snatched is directed by Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, The Night Before) and stars Amy Schumer (Trainwreck, Inside Amy Schumer) and Goldie Hawn (The First Wives Club, Overboard). "When her boyfriend dumps her before their exotic vacation, a young woman persuades her ultra-cautious mother to travel with her to paradise, with unexpected results".  Can Schumer score again or was Trainwreck a one-hit-wonder?

 Baywatch is directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief) and stars Dwayne Johnson (San Andreas, Fast & Furious), Zac Efron (Bad Neighbours, 17 Again) and Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas, Percy Jackson). "Devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchanan butts heads with a brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay". The next film to ride on the nostalgia wave is Baywatch - will it fall or rise?

 Alien: Covenant is directed by Ridley Scott (The Martian, Alien) and stars Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) and Billy Crudup (Almost Famous, Watchmen). "The crew of a colony ship, bound for a remote planet, discover an uncharted paradise with a threat beyond their imagination, and must attempt a harrowing escape". The jury is still undecided on Prometheus, will this truly be a return to form for Ridley Scott and the Alien franchise?

 A Dog's Purpose is directed by Lasse Hallström (Safe Haven, Hachi: A Dog's Tale) and stars Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast), K.J. Apa (Riverdale, Shortland Street), Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland, Girlboss) and Dennis Quaid (The Day After Tomorrow, Fortitude). "A dog looks to discover his purpose in life over the course of several lifetimes and owners". A film surrounded by controversy, can A Dog's Purpose come out on top or will it be sent to the doghouse?
