Spectre continued its UK domination for a second weekend in a row, taking in over $19 million. Brooklyn surprised and debuted in the top 3 (3rd) with $1.58 million. Burnt also cracked the top 5 (5th) with $675,000.

Unable to crack the top 5 this weekend was Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse - even though it had a weekend of previews last week. The film opened in 8th with $450,000. No other films opened within the top 10.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is directed by James Bobin (Muppets Most Wanted, The Muppets) and sees the return of existing cast members Mia Wasikowska (Crimson Peak, Stoker), Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands), Helena Bonham Carter (Cinderella, Harry Potter) and Anne Hathaway (The Intern, Les Miserables). Through The Looking Glass also adds Sacha Baron Cohen (Bruno, Borat) to the mix. "Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter". The first Alice in Wonderland joined the billion dollar club but was received with a mixed response from from critics and audiences. Can Through the Looking Glass be another mega-success for the House of Mouse? The first trailer for the film was  just released so lets see how Alice Through the Looking Glass seems to compare not only to the first film but Disney's Live Action Universe...

Magazines have really stepped up their game recently! First the magnificent Suicide Squad covers from Empire and now this pleasantly surprising cover from Entertainment Weekly. For those of you who haven't heard of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - it is a Harry Potter spin off and takes place before the Harry Potter films. Before this cover was released, it would say my excitement for the film was at about a 5 or 6 but now it's really near to a 10. Entertainment Weekly released a new cover and 8 (really 7) new photos from the film and I will give my thoughts on all!

 Spectre broke UK Box Office records this weekend with a huge opening week. The latest Bond movie took in a huge $63.56 million in its first 7 days of release.

Another Met Opera debuted in the top 10 of the box office at number 8 with $250,800. Inside Out also re-entered the top 10 at number 9 with $240,900.
