"After discovering a video showing what he believes to be his vanished sister Heather, James and a group of friends head to the forest believed to be inhabited by the Blair Witch". At this years comic con 'The Woods' became a sequel to The Blair Witch Project and fandom went wild - does it live up to the hype?

 Bridget Jones's Baby is directed by Sharon Maguire (Bridget Jones's Diary) and stars Renee Zellweger (Chicago, Bridget Jones's Diary), Colin Firth (The King's Speech, Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy, Enchanted). "Bridget's focus on single life and her career is interrupted when she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch ... she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby's father".  The first entry is a critically acclaimed success, the second is a critically slammed flop - where does the Baby fit in?

 Don't Breathe is directed by Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead) and stars Jane Levy (Evil Dead, Suburgatory), Dylan Minnette (Prisoners, Goosebumps), Daniel Zovatto (It Follows, Fear the Walking Dead) and Stephen Lang (Avatar, Conan the Barbarian). "Hoping to walk away with a massive fortune, a trio of thieves break into the house of a blind man who isn't as helpless as he seems". Horror films are of a much better quality in 2016, does Don't Breathe stay consistent to the genre?

 Kubo and the Two Strings is the directorial debut from Travis Knight and features the voices of Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road, Prometheus), Art Parkinson (Dracula Untold, San Andreas), Matthew McConaughey (Interstellar, Dallas Buyers Club), Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter, The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Rooney Mara (Carol, Pan). "A young boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armor worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past". Laika are consistently critically successful but not commercially, is Kubo a hidden gem of 2016?

 Jason Bourne is directed by Paul Greengrass (Bourne Series, Captain Phillips) and stars Matt Damon (The Martian, Saving Private Ryan), Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, The Danish Girl) and Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men, Men in Black). "The CIA's most dangerous former operative is drawn out of hiding to uncover more explosive truths about his past". The Bourne series has been consistently successful, until The Bourne Legacy in 2012....with Greengrass and Damon returning, is this a return to form for Bourne?
