The Huntsman: Winter's War will be the sequel to 2012's Snow White & The Huntsman which grossed just under $400 million worldwide when it was released. This film will be the directorial debut from Cedric Nicolas-Troyan - he originally worked in the visual effects team for the first film. The film will see Chris Hemsworth (Thor, In The Heart of the Sea) and Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road, Prometheus) joined by Emily Blunt (Sicario, Into the Woods) and Jessica Chastain (Mama, Zero Dark Thirty). "As two evil sisters prepare to conquer the land; two renegades - Eric the Huntsmen - who previously aided Snow White in defeating Ravenna, and his forbidden lover, Sara set out to stop them". This film will either be a solid hit or disappointment in a year which has a very crowded movie season from late March - can The Huntsman be a solid treat? The Huntsman: Winter's War hits the UK April 8th and the US April 22nd.
